Yuga Labs, the entity behind the Bored Ape NT collection has developed a metaverse game and released a teaser/tech demo by inviting 4,300 players for a first look at the metaverse world and the gameplay.
I’m usually skeptical towards metaverse gaming, but this is frankly amazing compared to all other metaverses out there.
⎆Ethereum Merges Are Projected for September
The long-awaited Ethereum merge to Proof-of-Stake has been projected to happen on September 19.
⎆Russia Bans Crypto Payments
Putin has signed a bill that bans crypto payments across the country. The law was approved by the Russian Assembly called Duma. Frankly, this is not surprising at all given the nation’s interest to protect the value of Rubble. The move to ban crypto as payments has also been done by other emerging countries.
