The crypto market is flat with the global market cap sitting at ~$2.2-2.3 trillion. While the market is relatively flat, frog nation-related (if you don’t understand what this means, a longer-form write-up is coming soon) tokens seem to hold better than most large-cap tokens. Global markets are slightly down as more than 10 million people globally got tested positive for Covid in the past week.
In other news, Shiba Inu launches a DAO, Samsung plans to integrate NFTs with its Smart TVs, and Grayscale’s AUM dropped to $43B.

⎆Shiba Inu Launches a DAO
The dogecoin rival launched its beta version of a DAO to provide its users with more authority to dictate the future of Shiba Inu-related projects. In phase 1, the DAO will focus on “providing immediate power to the community to decide which crypto projects and pairs on the ShibaSwap WOOF Pools will be, and how the $BONE rewards (Allocation Points) are to be distributed amongst them”. tBONE token will be used for voting/governance, which users can receive by locking/staking $BONE token for a longer period of time.
⎆Samsung NFT for Smart TVs
The South Korean firm announced that it plans to integrate an NFT marketplace with its smart TVs. The MICRO LED, Neo QLED, and The Frame TV models will be able to support this new feature.
⎆Grayscale AUM Dips to $43B
One of the world’s largest crypto asset management AUM dropped from ~$60B to ~$43B in the past month. AUM in the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) has been decreasing as the value of the trust lost its premium last year and is now in the discounted range. The firm has been actively trying to convert its trust to an ETF.
