OpenSea, the largest NFT market has just acquired NFT market aggregator Gem. Gem not only aggregates different NFT markets but also has advanced features such as the ability to sweep the floor of a collection. The deal was speculated to be in the hundreds of millions.
This acquisition is a smart move by OpenSea amidst a growing competitor landscape. OpenSea now has an aggregator tech on its hands and can direct the flow of the NFT market back to its main product.
