⎆Binance Commits $500M for Musk’s Twitter Takeover
The news broke out that the world’s largest crypto exchange, Binance, has committed $500M to finance Musk’s $44 billion Twitter takeover. Binance has been diversifying its wealth by going into media such as Forbes and traditional financial firms such as brokerages and fintech firms.
CZ is being smart and doing everything he can to please regulators around the world, not repeating the mistake that Arthur Hayes made. Binance reported annual revenue in 2021 is $20 billion, which makes this very worthwhile commitment only 2.5% of its 2021 revenue.
⎆Elon Changes Twitter Profile Picture to BAYP Collage
Musk embarked on another crypto Twitter shenanigans by changing his profile picture with a collage of Bored Ape, with Ape #5809 at the center of the picture. This move increase the Bored Ape floor price by ~10 ETH, despite the lite diss from Musk.
⎆Coinbase Opens Its NFT Marketplace for All
Coinbase has now opened its NFT marketplace to all users. Previously, it had millions of people registering for the whitelist beta, as one of the largest US-based crypto exchanges tries to compete with OpenSea and other NFT market juggernauts.
